Position Details and Requirements
We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Marketing Operations Specialist (Remote in Colombia) to support our hospitality clients and the internal marketing team. You’ll produce and execute digital marketing campaigns, create content, manage social channels and websites, maintain CRM and campaign data, and support community growth and influencer programs. You will work closely with the Founder and our Marketing Coordinator to deliver polished, brand-forward work for multiple restaurant accounts.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Email Marketing: Design and execute email marketing campaigns using multiple platforms (Mailchimp, Toast Email Marketing, and more.)
Content Creation: Plan and write brand-compliant copy for digital platforms; create compelling content for social media, email campaigns, blog posts, and advertising materials.
Website Management: Update websites and build webpages using SquareSpace and WordPress.
Social Media: Develop and execute monthly content calendars; create, draft, and schedule posts, Stories, and Reels using Later and Meta Business Suite; publish and format Google Business Profile posts; monitor and respond to inbound comments and direct messages; and actively engage on clients’ social media channels to build community and drive interaction.
Graphic Design: Produce on-brand graphics, videos, and other assets using Canva and Adobe Suite.
Campaign Execution: Assist in the development and execution of creative marketing and advertising campaigns that align with client objectives.
Performance Tracking: Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, prepare reports, and identify areas for improvement.
Data Management: Export, clean, and import contact lists; maintain segmentation and formatting in Google Sheets/Excel and email/SMS platforms. Use ChatGPT / LLMs for data grooming, copy generation, and automation.
Collaboration: Collaborate with the content creation teams, the Marketing Coordinator, and the CEO to develop cohesive and effective marketing strategies
Influencer outreach: Research, reach out to relevant influencers, coordinate visits and logistics, and communicate with management teams.
Community management support: Help respond to customer and influencer messages, flag sensitive issues for escalation, and engage on Facebook.
Administrative Tasks
Client Interaction: Maintain positive client relationships and manage clients' online reputation and presence.
Required skills & qualifications
Fluent English (written and spoken). Spanish proficiency is a plus.
1–2 years of marketing experience (digital content creation, social media, or email marketing preferred).
Strong copywriting skills and attention to brand voice and detail.
Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT/LLMs) for content, data grooming, and workflow acceleration.
Strong organization, ownership, and ability to manage multiple client tasks and deadlines.
Friendly, professional communication and the ability to collaborate with senior leadership.
Past Experience Desired (but not required):
1-2 years of relevant experience in marketing, with a focus on digital content creation and campaign management.
Experience with social media management platforms (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, SproutSocial).
Proficiency in content creation tools like Canva and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
Familiarity with G Suite (Sheets, Docs, Forms, Slides) for collaboration and productivity.
A positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and an eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Mailchimp or other email marketing programs for designing and executing targeted email marketing campaigns to effectively engage our clients' audiences and drive results.

Compensation & Perks
Salary: $1,300–$1,700 USD / month (final offer depends on experience). We prefer paying in USD.
One-time equipment stipend: $350 USD (details provided in offer).
Monthly internet stipend: $25 USD / month.
Quarterly performance bonus: Up to 10% of quarterly base pay (paid quarterly based on measurable KPIs; eligibility after probation).
Probation & reviews: 90-day probation; formal performance reviews at 3 and 6 months with a clear raise path for strong performers.

Hiring process & paid skills test
Top candidates will complete a paid skills test (~3–4 hours; paid $40–$60) to demonstrate copy, design/video, and basic CRM/data skills. The process is: resume review → 30-minute screening call → paid skills test → final interview with Founder → offer.
